Sony Ericsson W810i

On o2. £35 a month, great camera, 750 minutes, 750 texts. Comes with bluetooth.

video, internet, walkman, etc. are just lil extra's you don't have to use if you don't want to, you won't get charged for not using the net!

Go in-store to get the best deal.

same megapixels on the Sony Ericsson

Personally, wouldn't go anywhere near T Mobile.

    Vodafone are just expensive
    3 is *****

Can't fault o2 at all, just my personal opinion though.

that must be a matter of opinoin, I have been on all major suppliers...

    o2
    tmobile
    virgin
    orange
    3

    etc etc,

t-mobile have been by far the best, (in fact I have left them twice and returned to them again (current supplier) and I have now learnt that I will probably stop with these for years...

anyway, the question was for phone not supplier, so disregard

Just got one of those today as an upgrade. Liking it so far. I need to decide which is best, the K800i or my Nokia N80. The loser will be going on ebay.

The camera on the K800i seems to get better results from the few test photos I've tried.

Ayup mate! I'm 'between phones' at the moment. My work phone is on O2 which can't set a signal out here on t'wild & windy moor - they're asking my dept for £102 to port the number across to Orange, which I'm not sure will get paid, so I'm looking around for a new contract. Like the look of the Flex-t contracts on T-Mobile - £80 worth of calls/texts for £25pm. Narrowed phones to Samsung D600 or the SE W810i, but might hang on for the W850i (supposedly July.)

I've just had a bit of a problem with Orange

Which is why I've got this new phone (and a new number unfortunately). I looked at the flext tariffs from T-mobile and they seemed to be about the best around contract wise.

I managed to get 500 x-net minutes and 100 texts from Orange for £15 for 6 months and then £25 after that so I've gone with that.

I'm not sure that they are allowed to charge more than a £25-30 fee for porting numbers according to Offcom.

What tariff's that, then? T-Mobile do 350mins & 100 texts for £25. No idea Orange did anything like the deal you got.

    The tariff is

called Select 500. But you need to be on Orange already and tell them that you are leaving to take up one of three's contracts.

Its basically a copy of Three's Video Talk 600 Package (Orange Value Promise). They also do the VIdeo Talk 900 package. They wont do it on new connections though which is a shame.

    Free broadband with orange

For £30 a month on a 18 month contract ive got free wanadoo broadband, 1500 texts and 500 minutes a month.

I paid £50 for a nokia N80 but could have had a free phone with the deal.

I dont think anyone can beat that and both T-MOBILE who I left and 02 who were after nipping in had to admit that it was a cracking deal.

Also, the T-MOBILE "value" is because they base it on calls at 20p a minute which is more than most charge.
