Paul Digby. For some reason he is very easy to knock for a lot of people who continue to praise Bailey and Berry but there you go.

We should try and blood him for a while. Just my opinion.

I think he played very well and probably the best I've seen from him in ages. Probably makes a big difference in the player at the side of him too

As you know, I quite like Berry, but in Digby and Pearson today at least we headshot we've been missing in Bailey

He got better as the game went on. Made a lot of errors and misplaced passes though in the first half. Benefitted from playing alongside Pearson who was very good. Deserves a bit of a run in the team. Don't understand your comments about Berry, had a couple of bad games but isn't a bad player at all.

Berry needed a rest. But he's been one of our better players this season and considering the jump he's made I think any criticism of him is harsh. Our biggest letdowns this season have been the experienced lads.

Played for his height today, on their goal kicks we had him in front of their big lump of a forward and we had big jean behind and they nullified him between them. He needs a run in the team, he'll only get better

I agree with everything you've said Andy except the bit about needing a rest.

I thought Pearson and Holgate were both our best players today. Either one of them could have won it for me.

Berry has struggled recently and definitely needed a rest. Digby did ok but still unsure. He won plenty of headers, which is always useful but Yeovil had 10 men for an hour so hard to judge today...

We gave him a rest earlier in the season and he came back brighter, refreshed. Think that's the case again. Whereas for Bailey, he's got some work ahead of him, and Hemmings.

I'm sure Danny knows what he's doing. I really like Berry and like to see him picked every week so I'm just being selfish. I just feel that he's only had one poor game so I'd have played him but like I said Danny knows more than me.

Is there a subtle dig in there? At people who criticise players? From you? Lol.

Digby did ok but still not mobile enough for me and doesn't create much. Several passes to him he let run across him and ended up chasing balls that got away from him. Berry did need a rest though and hopefully his work rate will be back soon. I was expecting a slating for Pearson who passed a lot backwards, but it's clear that he comes from a team who understands the importance of keeping possession and recognises attacks can be built with patience and from any position. Many fans lamest that style normally but he had a solid game. I think Jennings is loking fitter and more confident too.

MOM - in recent games for me no obvious choice.

Gives the ball away far too often. Definitely not in Digby's class, although the rest might do him good.

Holgate for me. Pearson was very impressive on debut but I wish he'd take a few fewer risks on some of those passes he dropped a bit short for my liking. Holgate looks calm and composed and very much in control, other than when I say something like "Holgate looks calm and composed and very much in control" during the game.

    1. Holgate
    2. Pearson
    3. Digby

That's how I'd rank them today.

It makes a massive difference having mobile players wanting the ball in front of you though.

Hemmings, Lita & Jennings were in a right state after 60 minutes last week & stopped showing for the ball. It's a lot easier for whoever plays in the middle when they've got willing runners & a target man to play off in Waring
