Just that, so stop going on about him replacing Scowen, Brownhill, Hourihane, Glavin, or Banks.

He's a number 10. He'll not play in Central Midfield for us, especially in a midfield 2.

We'll be playing 4-4-2 though and Conor and Brownhill were meant to be number 10's. I think he'll play in central midfield.

I am not sure that some on here know what a No. 10 is.

I'd hazard a guess he'll be up front with Winnall.

    Isn't a No. 10 a kind of cigarette?

Weird that because the official site says he's a midfielder, wikipedia says he's a midfielder, and every other description I've seen of him suggests he's a midfielder.

i've personally not seen a single reference to him being anything other than a midfielder

    I guarantee 100% he will play as a midfielder in a 2.

Nearly every quote on the recruitment policy coming out of the club over the past 6 months has been how we are recruiting players to play a 4-4-2 with wingers and 2 up top

I would say he's an attacking midfielder who operates just behind the striker.....

Thats about the gist of it. Ive seen him play a fair few times. Ive mates who watch Colchester and none of them say he's a central midfielder. Not one.

    But we'll see I suppose.

He's clearly not a central Midfielder Terry Nutkins. Their seems to be some sort of obsession on here with 442. Anyone can see what position he plays and he's going for Winnall's place in the team. I'd be amazed if he's not a starter come August. A pace strikers a must too.

I posted the below the other day
    Bradshaw
Hammill Moncur Watkins(Could easily be another in at RW)

If barnsley get their way with Walsall then that's what they seem to be looking at.

Be interesting to see what happens next season. We will need to retain the ball more up the field. Great close control and real pace will be the way

442 got us promoted... Along with Winnals 24 goals. You haven't bashed Sam for a while, been badly? :D

Winnall is a striker, Moncur isn't.
