Anyone know what the club may have made financially from the two play off semi finals against Walsall and the play off final v Millwall at Wembley and from Sky for the three televised games?
We get 25% of the net (after expenses and the 50% levy) semi-final income from all 4 games, plus 50% of the net income from the final. I know that doesn't help as I've no idea what the figures are, but that's how it's distributed. As far as I know there's no financial advantage in winning the final (apart from going up of course!) http://www.football-league.co.uk/global/playoffrules.aspx
Re-distribute to grass roots? Use it to pay referee's Fund the running of the football league rather than charge all the clubs - some of whom have no success. Put in on the 3:45 at haydock.
