Why the hell did we bring Josh Martin in then? He's added sod all and costs us money. And why haven't we released moon yet? The less money to have to spend the better you have to be at spending it and we just don't seem to be
Could be wrong but i’d be surprised if the club operates on a policy of “let’s buy this player even though he’s crap and adds no value”. Some players will flop, it’s football.
Not very often. Usually a settlement somewhere in the middle can be agreed enabling the player to find another club and new opportunities
Well I mentioned one who's on loan and one who I said why is he still here rather than why did we sign. You have to admit our policy to signings has at times been a bit wasteful
You would have thought that Martin who did reasonably well when on loan to Doncaster in this league last year & coming from a decent club would have been a safe bet this season but so far he has been a real let down & tonight he was very poor , as for getting rid of Moon or any other player in mid season would result in the club buying him out of his contract & that is not easily done with a contracted player , a safer bet if they want move him out will be to wait 5 weeks & see if they can loan him out to a lower league club in january but of course this would be down to Duff & of course the player.
Only when said player has other clubs lined up - won't be the case for Moon, especially with the money he is on
I haven't got the figures but it's been spot the fan on the highlights I've seen. Very sparse looking crowds.
Hopefully Norwich might take Martin back in January because of his lack of game time. He’s offering us very little and his loan place could be taken by a decent striker.
Think we signed him on loan with a view of permanent, which often means it’s agreed already. Even if we decided we didn’t want him it suggests he’s surplus to requirements at Norwich, so unlikely they would agree to ending early.
