would Barnsley fans consider paying the wages of a loan player/short term signing. QPR,Brentford to name a couple of clubs.I'm sure there is more. Question is would tykes fans cough up to help the club bring in someone,or would the response be "Had enuff of my money already they are not getting anymore" Obviously the response to such a question would sum up how much we want to see our club suceed and how much we want that to happen! All im saying is fans of clubs like those mentioned felt the need to go to those extrodinary lengths to help their club. Would we do the same??? A fiver a fan would contribute towards sigining of a player for a full season would it not?? My maths is crap probably even less.
The trouble is, who would decide which player to sign. Our management team haven't made too many good selections so far IMHO. Would it be a case of our good money being wasted on more poor players, just like theirs has.
Not sure Would be tough i guess,not sure how other clubs did it. Maybe club said something like "We are trying to sign the Under 20's defender from so and so but we can't afford wages" Maybe they had to sell the player they were after to fans,either that or they were that desperate for new blood they would have anyone.LOL

I'll give a fiver or a tenner for it, sure But if I do can I ask the club why on earth they signed two players with broken bones if they couldn't afford anyone else in the squad. And why the hell they bought a right footed player to play on the left of midfield when it was obvious to everyone that we needed a centre half. And why we signed a striker who only managed 10 goals in two seasons at a lower division club and was released by that club, when it was obvious to everyone WE NEEDED A CHUFFING CENTRE HALF!

Godd idea but it will never happen.. they could have a share issue to raise cash. You know community club. No better than old boys club.
