Yes. He makes things happen. We don't bowl him often enough, and he's a better batsman than people give him credit for. Best spinner I've ever seen us have.
Yes simply because he is far better than Giles ever was. So for the first time in years England have a really competitive spinner. Ok he's no Shane Warne but to take a five wickets against Australia in your first ashes test and then take three of the five wickets in their second innings takes a very good performance. Perhaps the best thing about him is his passion for the game, he enjoys bowling and wants to take wickets, a breath of fresh air for English cricket.
