Watching 'Football Saved My Life' on Bravo. Luther Blissett was on giving a talk to the players about racism in football and referred to how he coped with racist abuse hurled at him as a 17 year old Watford substitute, warming up along the touchline at Barnsley. Turning to the culprit he said, 'well you're the one who's paid to watch this black b@astard!'
when I used to stand on the ponty as a 8 year old,the entire stand used to chant u black Barsteward at any opposing black player, for a few years thought this was the norm until I became more educated,if I hear this abuse these days I tell them to shut the **** up,times change but some folk don't.
Used to be sung a lot at referees Black players got the monkey noises & in the case of Winnie Campbell at Bumhole Lane, a shower of banana skins
yes and knowing that, his little brother who went out on the piss and found in a garden (big fooking deal i once woke up in a different country) was the one who came on here posting his fooking chav racist website..

The "entire stand" really?! If that was the early '80's then I was one of those telling them to shut up and getting verbally abused myself with shouts of "n*gg*r lover"!
