"Curiously McIndoe imagines Barnsley, promoted last season via theplay-offs, as a bigger club, not realising that they are favourites tomake an immediate return to League 1." were favourites suddenly? I thought we were 6th Favourites
We've always been one of them unfancied teams.... That's what makes beating the 'favourites' so good on occasions. Another reason to support Barnsley, although i do cos i'm bored and bred. I sometimes pity these spoilt gits that want to follow Wednesday , Leeds and Man Utd.... definitely must have summat missing in their lives! And on another tract, i can once remember seeing a bloke wearing a Blackburn shirt, the same week as they won the Premier, walking along Cheapside!!
RE: I totally agree Exactly! And who would have predicted last season's events? Firstly; we were going to get pipped by Forest. The Hudders were going to 'do' us - probably cos a lot of pepople view them as a 'bigger' club on account of their past many moons ago (?), and then the mighty Swansea just had to turn up. That's how it came across in my opinion
My favourite Donny quote of the day... The only club to show any interest was big-time losers, Barnsley, the team that generally see red when losing to Rovers, year in, year out. Curiously McIndoe imagines Barnsley, promoted last season via the play-offs, as a bigger club, not realising that they are favourites to make an immediate return to League 1. Do they seriously think they are a bigger club than ourselves?ff
