put 2 new front tyres on everything ok till i hit 60-70- at which point steering wheel starts to vibrate and judder any ideas?
Wheels are out of balance usually if someone fits the tyres they will balance the wheels as well. If the wheel balance is out you get the vibration. Take it back and demand they sort it (Is it a Peugeot by the way?)
OK Take it to any reputable tyre place and get the balance sorted. If you are feeling lucky you could try just removing the existing weights - which will be in the wrong places and see if it improves enough
i had a car like that, vauxhall cav, only did it between 60-70 owt below it and the couple mph above was fine it also had a knocking at the front end which was fixed by turning the volume on the radio up!!
