So after reading the article was the ‘mate’ a Tory donor or a former donor as it referred to them as both.
Of course no party is squeaky clean but why does that mean we ignore the gross illegalities of the party in government - If Labour were in power and they did the same we would be just as right to critisize them - though I think the Tories are significantly worse in recent times
Why not, it contradicts itself, which in turn raises its validity of its claim. Your post says Tories looking after its mates, based on an article from a publication that is known for its ability to produce half truths at best sometimes well if hes not a mate then its quite an important question. If hes a former mate then your claim is wrong, but if he is a mate then your claim could be right.
You seem to defend anything the Tory’s do . I used to blow my top when Blair was in number ten at some of the antics especially Mandelson and co . If I could have got hold of any of them when they went to war in Iraq there’s no telling What I’d have done I was so incensed .
Serious question John. Are you just a WUM? All you ever do is 'but Labour did the same 12 years ago', or 'but what about Corbyn?'. There's no full criticism, just outright statement that it'd be the same or worse under Labour specifically, so the Tories are fine. Do you mean that because Labour (in particular Blair and Brown's governments) have had scandals in the past, now any current or future government is immune to criticism because why bother?
