More trouble at Leeds...................

    Nicholls Is A Disgrace

    He gets the chance to join a bigger club, with history and bigger crowds etc. He gets given the captain armband and looked after through months out injured. The way he is repaying Leeds for his faith will be a black mark on the rest of his career. Totally unprofessional doing something like that at a vital time in the clubs history.

    I listened to this on BBC Radio Leeds last night when it was first announced (didn't want to listen to Radio Deedah as it would have contained too many smug Wednesday-ites/ peed off Tarn fans). It's obviously a disgraceful thing to do and suggests to me there is a lot going on behind the scenes at Elland Road that as yet, we don't know about. Let's not shed too many tears though as indirectly this revelation can only improve BFC's chances of staying up.

    Radio Leeds made me laugh. They were not so much bothered about losing to SWFC but were more aggrieved by the Nicholls thing. They constantly kept mentioning it and also were making a number of inferences that it would not have mattered so much if it had happened at other clubs...... but because it was the 'mighty' Leeds United then Nicholls should be hung, drawn and quartered for such treason. They were sayin that the Bremner statue had looked at the Club and decided to walk away (metophorically speaking of course).....................yet more examples of what is at times, exceptional arrogance and posturing from a one time 'big' club.

    ............and one other thing whilst mentioning the Bremner statue. Whilst it sticks in my throat to say this I have to admit that LUFC have - over the years - had some exceptionally skillful and sublime players. Old timers will remember Eddie Gray and Paul Madely whilst more recently the likes of Harry Kewell, Viduka etc have lit up Elland Road with their undoubted skills. How ironic then that LUFC choose Bremner as it's smobol of waht Leeds Utd are all about. I think it would be undeniable that he represented all that is bad about LUFC ie Dirty, cheating, arrogant, over agressive.
