    about a mile i would think

    plenty of street parking round the ground though, if youre walking from the beach you do have to pass the York Hotel though so its a good excuse :'( :'( :'( :'(

    Ok so York Hotel is half a mile from the ground, the beach is a mile from the ground and so York Hotel should be half a mile from the beach :D :D :D

    Cheers Arnside - just to repeat myself to all the Barnsley fans. The York Hotel is the place to meet up before and after the game. There is no facility for away fans at the ground and due to FL regulations the bar is not available to anyone except sponsors and those in the main stand.
    BTW - we dont yet have a Barnsley scarf in the pub collection!!
