No surprise on the Morgan front Can't believe we wasted our time giving him a trial. Still, no harm done.
RE: Odd Maybe he'd have had more chance if he was left footed. With Hassell and Kozluk already at the club we've little room for another right back in what is supposed to be a trimmed down squad. Doesn't stop us from having 8 forwards like and still on the look out for another.
I wasn't a fan of them being offered trials but how much of a player can you see in 45 minutes? It wouldn't have harmed to wait until after tomorrow first.
Granted it was only one game and it was against Buxton But i really liked that Ramsey, he's only a young lad and even if he hadn't made a breakthrough this season, he'd have been chalenging for a place maybe next year. Shame really because i thought he was our best player last night. (N) Not suprised about Dean Morgan tbh, he was on the other end of the spectrum, very poor. (Y)
True But then he is only 19, could've been one for the future.
You're right though, left footer needs to be a priority.

just a thought..... Maybe SD felt Ramsey did ok, but didn't justify money his agent was after....... I can imagine his agent may have been after decent wages having been a regular in Man City reserves and coming from one of the best academys in the country. Also he played right fullback, a position that we already have substantial cover for...... I assumed he was left back. Either way obviously something that put us off considering performance in friendly. As for Dean Morgan, he was decent young propoect a few years ago..... sounds like he's lost it all together!
RE: What's the point in trialling him then? If he'd have been pretty special I'm sure they'd have signed him despite the fact that we have already got two right full backs. He obviously wasn't.
