"Hopefully, for the final, the squad at Barnsley can find a way to watch it together in a socially distanced way.”

Yeah, ok Carlton. Like you do when we score a goal and there is a huge pile of bodies celebrating or multiple hugging. Why do footballers say such daft things? It's just paying lip service to the idea. Same when the teams come out of the tunnel separately. What's the point of that when several times during the match every one of them will be in close physical contact with players of the opposite side? Or maybe one of Team Boris's new ideas will be that football etc can carry on next season as normal provided that players of the opposite side never come into contact. No tackles allowed. Hmmm - a new game o_O.

I think he probably means that rule of six still exists indoors so to watch it together they'd have to set something up outdoors or book lots of individual tables of six somewhere, which isn't going to happen now, so would likely need to be a private room in a hotel somewhere local.

Not a daft comment to make it all. Not nearly as daft as the rules still in place.

Seems a good lad does Morris. His technical ability on the ball far outweighed my expectations last season, let’s hope he brings that into this season.

Reading what he says about Woodrow stepping up in training with leadership, I read that as Woodrow becoming the captain. I might just be jumping to conclusions but it’s probably between him and Helik. I’d be more than happy with Cauley being the captain and I’d love him to keep moving up our record scoring charts for years to come.

What do you honestly expect him to say?

Next goal will be his 50th for the club.

He’d be my choice for captain. Ultra professional, experienced and been here three years. Knows what it means.

    Fully agree.

I’m a youngen (ish) so I’ve only been properly going for 15 years or so but he’s definitely the best goal scoring striker I’ve seen at the club.

Enjoy him while January. Best all round striker I've seen since Ashley Ward and Neil Shipperley.

Same comments on here every year, truth is that in the 4 January transfer windows the owners have had the club they've sold:
    Angus MacDonald
    Brad Potts
Tom Bradshaw (although it was already agreed in the prev summer)

2 players in 4 years, Woodrow is contracted until the summer of 23 so he won't be sold in January. I think some are still scarred from the Cryne winter sales.

Just have this feeling that WBA will be in for him after they get funds in for Sam Johnstone and Mateus Pereira.

Their strike force of Karlan Grant, Callum Robinson and Kenneth Zohore isnt exactly one to be feared.

Zohore, Robinson and Grant is about as fearsome as you'll get at this level. Pace, power and goals.

Better than last seasons Woodrow Morris and Dike?

For me? No. But Zohore is a beast at this level, and Grant is rapid and can finish. Robinson is a little hit and miss but when he’s on it, he’s some player at this level.

Woodrow, Morris and Cole is very exciting though.

In the Prem though, in a side battling relegation all season. I fully expect them to score more this season.
