Please forgive me another shameless plug of my services :)

Helped a few BBS-ers and would be nice to help any others.

There are a record number of remortgages due in 2023 and a lot of people are worried due to how rates have gone up. We've actually seen quite significant drops in the last month or so, since Truss left office.

Unless you have a very simple situation, it's probably more important than it has been for a long time to seek advice from a (good) broker about options. There's a real debate between fixing again or seeking a variable rate at the moment.

The reason I've said June, is that some lenders will give 6 month mortgage offers, so people's deals that are expiring in June, I can find the right deal for them in early January, secure the rate (if you want fixed), and then I monitor for that lender dropping rates before the deal kicks in. So you're guaranteed that rate and it can start straight after the current ones expires, but if deals get cheaper you can still benefit.

One guy buying with my help at the moment, his lender has reduced rates 3 times since I secured him his mortgage, and his mortgage is now £100/month less than what we first locked in. It's only because I've monitored it and got in touch with the lender that he's now going to get on the cheaper rate - so it pays to have dedicated broker! Sometimes paying a fee to a broker can actually save you money.

Happy to provide reviews of my services if required!

Please DM if I can help, or if you have any questions.
