    On your recommendation I got the ION iTT USB deck for my birthday yesterday and as I type I am listening and recording &quot;Heaven or Las Vegas&quot; by the Cocteau Twins and converting said vinylto WAV format. Yay!! Cracking gift, thanks for the suggestion mate.</p>

    Kids are looking at my vinyls and going ..WTF??</p>

    Just seen your PM Airy - no worries at all, it's a lovely piece of kit, and you are the second recommendee I know to buy one. I've also been converting tapes to MP3 using the line in function on the turntable.

    Dont know if it's better, as my laptop hasno line in. But this record player connects via USB and turning Vinyl into MP3s using audacity (which it comes with) is very straightforward - it looks really nice too.
