It is a wind up innit? One of them where they've all played so bad that you vote for the sub who didn't get on, tell me it's one of them. You didn't really think Mossto was MOM did you? Or is it the same blind faith shown towards old Georghi, when Wilson realised he'd been sold a pup and bought Ward & Fjortoft to replace him but some fans still thought we'd got a good un? We all want these lads to come in and do well and we want to welcome them to Barnsley but he's scored ONE tap in goal not played particularly well and doesn't look like scoring, both our "strikers" are now playing so deep it's like were playing a 4-6-0. We have the worst strikers in the Championship BAR NONE. We will be relegated if we don't replace both him and Odejayi soon, the midfield are recklessly leaving gaps as they HAVE to get forward because if they don't we simply won't score (the actual balance of the midfield and Davey's decision to keep Kozluk out are other factors of why we're leaking goals but that's another story).
Was looking at Norwichs first goal again on the Championship. So simple - a striker played in on goal with the keeper to beat. When was the last time Mostto was "in on goal"? In fact I cant remember many times this season, any of our front men running onto a through ball from midfield and slotting home. Is it the strikers or the service thats to blame?
Odejayi ran onto 3 through balls for one on ones against the keeper v Southampton. Unfortunately he only worked the goalkeeper on 1 out of the 3. Mostto's work ethic, movement and first touch are all poor imho. All this "give him time to settle is crap". Can't see him adapting to English football at all and certainly not in time to save us from the dreaded drop. At 400k he has been a criminal waste of the club's money. It's time to admit that, end of story. The fact is, we haven't ONE forward good enough at this level.
