Our club has reportedly made 1.75 million from the cup run yet we start with 2 strikers with about 3 goals between them.I said on deadline day that if Davey didnt sign a striker it could be the biggest mistake of his life,yesterday there was far too much long ball(again) just lumped up all the time looking for Stan(becoming more anonymous by the game) and everybodys friend Kayode it just doesnt suit us.Why the club couldnt go out and make one last loan signing to help us stay up and possibly finish up in the final I will never know,now it looks like Macken and Coulson or maybe Macken and Nardiello(when fit) but knowing Davey he will probably play Ferenczi and Odejayi again, (doh)
Agree with Journo Tyke about Connolly, but other than him, who I'm sure had plenty of clubs chasing him, who else is going to be available? Very few. However, I think through the season we've almost got a new striker in Coulson. Looking very promising indeed, should definately start wednesday along with big Jon.
