Did anyone expect Kayode to score when clean through, not that fecking surprising, not his fault. We are just not sharp enough in front of goal the only place Davey has failed.
It cost us the game simple as that He should never wear a barnsley shirt again - and that's not a knee jerk reaction
If we had taken that chance we would have won. Cardiff were playing on the break until that moment. It changed the whole game because our heads went down.
If we had've took it to 1-1 then maybe we could have got another. Who knows? All I know is that Davey needs to put his issues with Christensen to one side and think about the future of this football club. Also if I was KO I'de think twice about saying my prayers morning, noon and night - it obviously ain't working.
agree if oddjob scores we get the energy back in our play and imo we nick it or at least get them to ET. If that went in i honestly believed we would not have lost that game
Sorry, I think it cost us the game After that miss, the whole mood of the game changed. Cardiff were much more in control, and we hardly had a chance.
in the time it took from winning the ball to getting it under control and the kicking it, (lets say one second) I must have had 5 thoughts running through my head ranging from yes hes is going to score to oh well, he's missed it - maybe a bit like how they say your life flashes through your head before you drown trouble is, it was we've equalised, he's missed it, its in, he's missed it, yes!, he's missed it, he's missed it, Oh well to those saying that KO wont play for us again, SD's comment on the BBC website is that he will stand by his striker so its likely that our remaining 6 games will be used to restore KO's confidence - gollox
Yes so was I Much less gutted than I expected to be after yesterday. Disappointed yes - gutted takes more effort than I think its worth
Half agree Once it was missed the game was over Had it gone in I have no idea who would have won, but at least we would have had a good chance
Very true, We never aim for the FA cup and to be fair we had our fun we took out two of the biggest teams in Europe and no it wasnt a fluke. We were 3 mins from victory until trevor kettle awarded them a PK in the 97th min 4 minutes after he should have blown that whistle. gutted didnt come close, the same for Sunderland last season we held on 0-0 and then they got two of the luckiest goals ever. why dont we ever have the luck that wednesday do, 93rd min goals etc
Poor support Yesterday more atmoshpere at game where we only take 500. The hangers on were as quiet as church mice.
soz but how many players had he bought??? The team was paper thin yesterday! Not 1 player on the bench to turn things around. Hassel playing out of position with a MF on the bench and 2 rotting in the reserves A ***** striker in KO and an underperforming Istvan up front whilst 700K cant even get on the bench. A player in KC who has always given his all on the pitch when picked. Davey has dropped some major B*ll*cks. Dont let the cup run gloss over the cracks. Not shouting for his head just yet but i want to hear what he has to say about why those players have been frozen out when we could have done with them. He has done a richie and played 'his mates'. Its going to get us relegated. This spat with Radio Sheffield is very convenient - it means we will never get them on Q&A to get some answers. The club is now a totally closed shop. Turn up Pay up **** off if you have any questions or issues Like it or lump it Without the cup run and the income from that we would be having a nitemare of a season with mouting losses! And why the **** didnt we strengthen in the window?? A brilliant chance to win the cup - what more of a cherry would that have been for a top striker and MF player. ****.
The cup run has considerably contributed to our recent loss of form. Players going through the motions so that they wouldn't get injured or booked.
Players ara as good as they are or as good as they are able to develope due to coaching etc. Unfortunately in KO's case his apparent level is below that at which he is currently trying to play, so in my opinion to crucify him, as we have been doing most of this season is unfair the blame lies totally with Davey for not realising that he is not good enough at this moment in time for this level of football, although if things carry on as they are then we will probably see him in is glory in the 1st. division. A manager on top of his job or who indeed new his job would have taken the lad off because there was no way with his lack of confidence anyhow, would he have been able to get over a crushing blow like that.
