We won today when we weren't great. Every game we've won so far we've had to play well and when we've not, we've got turned over.

But we were poor today, let them through us far too easily. Putting Perkins at left back was barmy but changed it half time so fair play. Butterfield looked off and Foster/McNulty probably had their worst game as a partnership. And Ranger missed a sitter but he looks like he could be a quality player.

But we still won. Didn't stop running and Davies was quality up top second half. And Vaz, a love thi.

Keef looked outstanding when he added the scarf as well.

    All in all, UREDS

Agree with all that, especially the scarf. Was gonna mention it but knew you wouldn't disappoint.

I dont think we were poor at all, dominated possession and had the odd aberration

which Ranger were you watching, the one i saw looked slow and like he didn't give a ****. agree that moving perkins into the centre changed us as a team, unbelievable engine, never stops.
thought Davies played better when no danger went off, and he was able to lead the line more. bullied Mcarthy when he came on.
Also agree that it was good to win, when not at our best, baffled by how Drinkwater played.

Ranger trapped the ball well and battled well to me too some right boot but never once went to ground

    Drinkwater was poor though

thought wiseman played very well when he came on, his best in a red shirt. makes the decision to start with perkins there even more baffling.

Thought Ranger had incredible strength on the ball to hold off defenders.
Vaz Te was a different class tonight, best I've seen him play even discounting the goals.

By no means the finished article but good in the air, good first touch and seemed to have a trick or two. Definitely something to work with.

But, you're right. He's played twice and is w@nk.

Power and pace. Both Davies and Ranger have both in abundance and it's what you need in this division

He did, he made a few excellent tackles

But as the half wore on their winger got the upper hand. If we'd kept it like it was I could see Perkins getting sent off. He was fouling him every time.

Had the usual nobed behind me (East stand lower, half way line, middle) who was shouting abuse at Ranger from 2nd minute. 'Ranger, Pull thi socks up', 'Ranger, yer lazy'
FFS - for first 5 mins ranger was carrying their defender on his back.
