Only ten games gone, but who you lot think is most improved player from last season?

My vote would be Kay- has really stepped up his performances and is maturing into a top defender.

    Howard's a close second though...

Kay by a not so big country mile thing

does all the physical stuff Reid and Hassell cant cope with, keeps it simple, and his organisational skills ie sharting is main reason the lads at the back have stuck together. respect to him cos I was a doubter.

    Close second to Kay

Kay by a small Eastern European state maybe..definate improvement in the physical side, all round contribution and work rate very much so, still misses too many for me, but 5 goals already, only Nudger would complain. Richards alongside Nardiello is what I'm waiting to see...

    Struggling to choose between

    Howard. Kay. Richards.

The longer Hayes plays at this level the more he'll make people who say he 'hasn't got it' look like ******.

    Hayes

sneaking suspicion he'll be on his bike in Jan. sumat tells me this 5th striker business is bourne out of a conversation Ritchie's had with PH.

Would be a big loss, no mistake

but if the players already decided, I'd prefer to have a plan B ready to go. cash in Jan enough to tempt Gord to deal? if Hayes is in the top 5 scorers still and Eastwood's family have been evicted from their site, maybe there's a deal to be done.

Billy Sharp at that time. Heard Ritchie waxing lyrical abaout him when he summarised on Chesterfield v Scunny. Hayes has to fetch £300k minimum or else I'll piss in Gordon's office on his carpet.
