Big Ron has come out with some beauties

'I would not say he (David Ginola) is the best left winger in the Premiership, but there are none better'.

'He dribbles a lot and the opposition don't like it - you can see it all over their faces'.

'I never comment on referees and I'm not going to break the habit of a lifetime for that .... (sounds like cat)'.

    'He must be lightning slow'.

'Well, either side could win it, or it could be a draw'.

    'Zero-zero is a big score'.

'On another night, they'd have won 2-2'.

'Well Clive, it's about the two M's - movement and passing'.

'I tell you what, if the Cameroons get a goal back here they're literally gonna catch on fire'.

'He missed that by quite some area'

    I used to really like

"Iley Out" at every home match in the 'seventies, but that was before your time.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

    "This one's in Beckham territory."

Fine if he's playing, but a little misplaced if it's Wycombe v Oldham.

Also hate "pinged it", "Captain Fantastic", "Wears his heart on his sleeve", "runs his legs to water", "he's went to head it", "carrying an injury", "I couldn't see the incident from where I was", "impact sub", "on his wrong foot", "good shot stopper" and everything Andy Townsend ever says, ever.
