Most teams in the championship have a Big powerful striker/target man............ We've got Odejayi!

Scotland is constant threat, he terrorises defences and gets goals...... we don't have such a player! KO may terrorise defences on the odd ocassion but thats where the similarities end! Its alright SD saying he creates chances for himself that other players couldn't, but if he's not putting them away what use is he?? come on SD wake up and get rid........ the fact is most teams in the championship have big forward amungst the ranks.

Sadly KO is the only striker on our books over 6ft....... I am hoping that SD's priority in the transfer window is to sign a targetman, who can score goals...... One name that springs to mind is Shefki Kuqi from Palace, he would fit perfectly into the mould and is available having been transfer listed by Palace.

Ferenczi perhaps didn't score enough, however, his work rate could never be questioned....... I wonder if all those fans who knocked him last season wish he was back with us now?

Andy Ritchie tried to sign Jason Scotland for Huddersfield, btw.

 

Ritchie also signed Richard Kell for us..... and frank Sinclair for the terriers btw

..... and Thordasson tried to sign Uwelumo and Cureton as I remember? if only that deal had come off!

 

I think the Odejayi terrorising defences thing is a myth

Yes he has pace and power, but as soon as a centre half has played against him for more than 5 minutes they'll realise that he has the close control of Douglas Bader, the balance and agility of Stephen Hawking, and that even if he's allowed a free shot on goal there is a greater risk to the fans sat in the upper echelons of the stand behind the goal than there is to the back of the net.

I first saw him play when we were at home against Scunny last season and he ran half the length of the field and scored. I thought we had a world beater on our hands, but how wrong I was. He's only scored about 4 times since then in about 1600 appearances.

Would much rather he lined up for the opposition every week.

 

He couldn't terrorise an under 7's team

I wish people would stop trying to make excuses for him and say what he's good at doing. He's **** and shouldn't be playing for a championship club.
