RE: How about Souza? Is he playing? nt played first half. Big lad. didnt put a foot wrong. Looked good against this level of oppositition
From official website UXTON 1 (Walker) BARNSLEY 3 (Odejayi, Ferenczi, Mostto)
MIGUEL Mostto gave the Reds a glimpse of things to come as he scored an outrageous goal to help his new side to victory against Buxton.
With boss Simon Davey without Marciano Bruma, Bobby Hassell, Paul Reid and Rob Kozluk through a combination of injury and illness, the Reds had a makeshift look to their defence as they continued their pre-season preparations against Buxton.

Trialist Dennis Souza started the game alongside Rhys Meynell, Luke Potter and Sam Togwell at the back while Kayode Odejayi partnered Michael Coulson up front. Barnsley could have been in front inside the first few minutes as Odejayi managed to get himself into a good position but blazed high over when well placed.
The Reds started managed to the breakthrough inside the first 20 minutes when Odejayi pounced to net his fourth goal of pre-season. Odejayi showed great pace and strength to cut in from the left before smashing the ball past Hartley.
Buxton rallied and managed to pull level before the break when Paul Walker netted from close range.
Barnsley rang the changes at half time with only Meynell surviving into the second 45 minutes with new signings Mostto and Lewin Nyatanga getting their first action as Barnsley players this summer.
The changes paid immediate dividends as Ferenczi pounced to put the Reds back in front with just five minutes on the clock in the second half after great play down the left by Rohan Ricketts.
Peruvian international striker Mostto then announced his arrival at Oakwell in sensational fashion just before the hour mark when he let fly from distance and hammered the ball past Hartley, who was helpless in the Buxton goal.
The Reds could have really made the game safe late on as Ferenczi and Brian Howard both had goals ruled out for offside.
BUXTON: Hartley, Foyle, Ridley, Howey, Balcher, MacPherson, Hall, Foster, Parton, Walker, Riley. Subs: Doxey, Bingham, Lennon, White.
BARNSLEY: Letheren (Colgan 45), Togwell (Johnson 45), Potter (Werling 45), Meynell, Souza (Nyatanga 45), Devaney, Mattis (Howard 45), McCann (Ricketts 45), McGrory (Heslop 45), Odejayi (Ferenczi 45), Coulson (Mostto 45).

Wayne.......... did you miss a letter or does the official website have us playing a different team to the one we did
Iv'e been away, could anyone fill me in on our latest signings, Nyatanga a fantastic loan deal , well done simon Davey. Any more signings?
Got Dennis souza in on trial. looked promising in training yesterday. Apparently didnt do bad in tonights game either.
Lookin very good mate. Bring in that muller as keeper. Unsworth / Souzza as another centre half - or both! and where sorted in my opinion. Oh and maybe kyel reid as cover for either side of the wing.
When did you go on holiday? Who are you aware we've signed mate? Kozluk Bruma Nyatanga Werling Johnson Ricketts Mostto Odejayi So far... hopefully Muller (GK), a centre half, winger and 4th striker would be ideal!
