My car has been in a garage for 6 weeks after a engine conversion i drove it home last Thursday when i got it home the accelerator suddenly wouldnt work then when i pushed the car into my garage for the night i noticed a puddle of brake fluid under the car the garage collected it and they have said i need a new Bais Valve and they had to put in another accelerator pedal they said. The Bais valve will be cheaper to do it myself they said which i agree with, but the valve was out of the same car that the engine came out of and it worked fine before but how the hell did it pass the mot 8 days before it could have killed me i drove back on the M1. Should i contact VOSA and report them your thoughts please. Also the garage have got rid of the shell of my old car that the engine came out of it still had parts on that i wanted for spares the guy that had the shall cant be contacted hes away but i want my shell back the garage were going to give me money for the shell but have said they wont now even though they have sold it on to someone else.. /poo
