Not sure what everyone else thinks, but I'm quite happy without the pundits.

It is strange... but whether it is better or not is not the point. The point is these arseholes in power are overstepping the mark and the country needs to stand up to them.

 

You can’t talk about lineker like that on here…

Match o the day was loads better without all the crap in between though.

 

I loved it much better than all the crap they spout

 

And saved a lot of licence fee money

 

No it was crap without the usual debate about var after every game I’ve a feeling it will be hopefully back to normal come next Saturday

 

I don’t understand why people who don’t want commentary or pundits bother staying up and spend an hour watching it religiously every week. Just watch the highlights on YouTube at quarter past five.

 

A Screeching Pearce-free zone is ok by me.

 

I don't understand why this programme exists anymore. Back in the day it was mint, now its obsolete.

 

I thought it was weird. To not have pundits spewing banal obvious stuff after every game was fine. But for the games themselves to not even have commentary was just weird.

 

Weird isn't it. Tuning in week after week to something they don't like. It's like going to the chippy every Friday and asking for salt and vinegar on your chips every time when you don't really like salt or vinegar

 

I usually fast forward through the punditry. Lasts about 20 minutes so no different for me. No " he felt contact, so he was entitled to go go down" quick translation for us mere mortals: he's a f@ckin cheat bit that's part of the game these days, interlaced with a massive dose of arse licking depending on how big your contract is and how big the club you play for is.

 

I didn’t say I didn’t like it… but I said I preferred it this way. Maybe the commentary would be ok, but without the “insights” it was better.

I’m also guessing people watch it cos it’s easy at the end of the day to sit and watch the prem goals.

 

It's not better without the music or the pundits. It's idiotic to think otherwise.

I don't always agree with what they say (its football, so it's emotive and subjective) but its not as enjoyable without.
