MOTM............ Darren Moore

well JCR got it, Souza probably derserved it....... but when you think about it DM turned the game. I really do feel his sending is as blessing in disguise. Correct me if I am wrong but does it mean he will be banned for the next three matches? and in his absence Foster will no doubt be restored to centre half and Hassell will return at right back.

Great result today........ definately a game of two halves Donny played us off the park in the first half, but fortunately we have two match winners in our side in JCR and Hume (tow fantastic goals)....... with a bit of comfidence and Moore out of the side I feel we can now push on! In all honesty I think Moore will struggle to get back in the side unless we are hit with injury.

Player ratings:

8 Muller - made some fantastic saves to keep us in it
7 Foster - was poor in the first half in fullback role, but stood out when he was back in his rightful position at centre back
9 Souza - MOTM won everything
10 Moore - got himself sent off and saved the day, also means we will be without him for the next few games and may give us a chance!
7 Kozluk - some said in the week he was a bad signing, give over! he's class fullback, just a shame he hasn't got shooting boots when he breaks fwd
9 JCR - scored the match winner! and worked hard all day long
7 Anderson - poor first half, very good in the second
6 Leon - never got in the game
6 Devaney - shocking first half, but stepped in up a gear in the second
7 Hume - worked hard in the second half and scored another wonder strike
6 Rigters - did ok, but doesn't looks fully fit...... I have high hopes for this lad

Subs:
7 Hassell - should be first choice right back, defended and broked fwd well
7 Macken - worked hard and got his goal. just hope thats enough to lift his comfidence
6 Lazarus - hard to judge on 5mins, but got stuck in!

 

I'll keep knocking Kozluk it seems to make him play better, although he did get skinned today.

Daveny 6? a good solid 8 never gets the credit he deserves. You give Lazarus same points and he didn't touch the ball ?

 

Souza is definitely my player of the season so far.

 

Can't agree with 7 for Anderson. He is pure pure class. Even in first half when Donny had better of us, he ouzed class. The ball punted high in the air, and he looked at it for a second, then looked around for 4 and then turned back to ball (cos it weren't going anywhere) and simply nodded it onto to JCR. How many players do that??? They watch ball hoping it stays on course nd nobody else gets there first. Ans as for the second half....well jeysus...if he int best midfielder in our league...then...well...then...??

 

Leon deserved a 4. Was a passenger all game. Never puts a foot in and always backs out of a tackle. He is good in some games, but the more physical ones he is a miss. Colace and de silva should play when fit and we now need a back up cm now howie has gone

 

I tell thi it was my brand spanking new lucky pants that r lass bought for me for that reason that did it. 1st time out of packet and looked what happened!!

So they should have got the MOTM
