Come on, own up! Did those that voted for Hayes go to the match or is it just a " I hope he played well" vote? Not that I went but going by Cazi et al opinion's he was poor. I voted Shukes 'cos of 2 goals. (also to rub it in for LDDC & TMFDM)
Didn't go so didn't vote, but I saw the goals Hayes set up the first with a brilliant run, turn and cross. He set up one of the others too didn't he?
Hayes I didn't vote for Hayes for MOTM, but he was not poor. He set up the first goal, did some excellent link up play, tackled back, and nearly scored with a blinding 30 yard effort. However, i still think he is lacking some confidence in front of goal I think it was a good team performance against a poor Swindon team. Just the kind of game that we would have probably lost last year.
Who said Hayes was poor I thought he had a good game (and said so if you'd read my post on the game)</p> Set up 2 of the 3 goals.</p> He wasnt man of the match in my opinion - that should be Shuker or Devaney - but he certainly was worth his place in the side</p>
RE: Who said Hayes was poor Spartacus said that Cazi had said he was poor. I must have missed that post, but i agree with you. I thought he had a good game. I actually voted for Devaney, because i thought he looked dangerous everytime he got the ball, and caused them problems. He also scored the first goal.Shuker took his goals well.
RE: his cross for 1st with his left was quality finish by devaney was even better,if henry had scored that they would have been raving about it!
