    Need a new tax disc holder for my bike can anyone recommend anywhere nice and cheap for them?

    Speaking of bikes

    Anyone on here rode a Yamaha R1 at any point?

    My dad passed his test last year and already has a big engined bike (Suzuki GSX 1200 or summat like that) it's not an out and out sports bike, and he does want one and really fancies an R1, just wanted any opinions on them for him.

    In fact LDRed is that one in your avatar?

    My avatar is a CBR600F6 and a CBR400RRJ

    As for the R1...licence muncher! Great fun, very powerful indeed. Gearbox is slightly clunky, not the most comfortable bike in the world either.

    Yes I've had one, great if thats what he wants a sports bike, they are not to good on the back if doing lots of miles. I only sold it as i was living in Guernsey and after riding to Barnsley a couple of times it took its toll so i got rid and bought a Blackbird.
