    I've switched to UKTVG2

    Don't know who the commentator is ( Ron Atkinson is the "expert" ) , but they're certainly a damn sight better than Motson and Lawrensen !

    Its not the fact that Motson blamed broadcasters for the shadows..

    Its the fact that some sad t*ssers with no brains have phoned the BBC to complain about the shadows!

    Thats a different issue

    but Motty's response - sorry about the shadows but the pictures are from the host broadcaster and out of our control - was just as dumb

    Motson not having a clue about the Owen substitution got me

    Kept going on that it must be an injury when it was clear it was just that he's not match fit and with the heat you change it around a bit.

    For the years and years that Motson has commentated he never seems to know what's going on.

    I could see what he meant though.

    He meant that people should stop complaining because pictures are nothing to do with them. People phoning to ask the BBC to fix the shadows is beyond my comprehension.

    Had they not been so blinkered in their views

    They would have realised after 10-15 minutes that he was not up the pace of the game. He'll come good, but today was not going to be his day.
