qpr A lost 2-1 subbed after 74 mins
Brum A lost 2 - 0 played full game
Derby H won 2 - 0 both goals were scored after he was subbed in the 62nd minute
Blackpool A lost 1 - 0 subbed after 55 mins
Watford H won 2 -1 both goals were scored after he was subbed in the 55th minute
Reading H lost 1 - 0 came on as sub 78th minute
Swansea A drew 2 -2 played full game
plymouth H won 2 - 0 came on as sub 90th minute
preston H draw 1 - 1 came on as sub 53rd minute
west ham A lost 3 - 0 played full game
southampton H lost 1 - 0 subbed after 65 mins

In summary:
8 games started & subbed in 5 of them + 3 games come on as a sub
3 goals scored by us whilst he's been on the pitch (qpr & swansea)
11 league points won out of possible 30 (although realistically 6 of them were won after he had been subbed & 4 before he came on)

NOT GOOD

Sadly, one of Davey's duff signings. Looks conference league level at best from what I've seen of him.

One of my mates told me he saw him driving his rangerover past some young kids who were all waving at him and he stuck his finger up at them as he drove past. Was disgusted!

That's really really bad. He looked promising in pre-season, probably cos he was the only one who could be arsed!

Not saying its not true..........

cos I wasn't there but find that really hard to believe.
I've seen him on a number of occasions talking to young fans , signing autographs etc
and he's been nothing short of a total professional.
In fact I once saw him pose for a photograph for ages while the lads mate fathomed out how to use the camera on the phone, and he just smiled and waited.

Still don't rate him as a player though.

Very bad use of stats, imho.

Have you done an individual match by match analysis of the guy.

I thought not.

He's not good is he? But the stats could have been used to discredit anyone who played in those games.

Very bad use of stats.

I've looked at each match he's played in and presented the details in my original thread. Difficult to dress it up in any other way.

I agree he's ****.
But so was the use of those stats.
He could have had a few good games and they would have been lost in the way you presented the data.
Much too general and not specific enough to El Haimour.
If I hadn't seen him play the stats wouldn't really say anything to me.

not sure what level of detail you are after, the match reports don't tell me how many touches he had or how many tackles he made. They simply give the result, the times of the goals and how long he was on the pitch. The facts are, hes been involved in 11 games, 6 losses 3 wins 2 draws and in the ones where we have won or drawn, he was actually only on the pitch once when we scored (swansea). Best I can do I'm afraid

on the sky sports website he gets a rating of 5

We must stress that these ratings are judged independently by the skysports.com journalist reporting on the game and have nothing to do with the Sky Sports television coverage. Hence, the official Sky Sports TV Man of the Match may sometimes differ from the top mark awarded on the site.

These are the standard rules we will be using:

10: Out of this world - very rare, exceptional performances only.

9: Excellent - Top-class display, probably the matchwinner.

8: Very Good - Outstanding, very influential.

7: Good - Impressive, eye-catching.

6: Average - No major faults, nothing overly impressive.

5: Below Average - Some faults, out-of-touch.

4: Poor - Many faults, easy to criticise.

though Cristiano Ronaldo only gets 6.9

I agree with you Manlito

There's no way you can judge individuals based on a limited number of results. As you say, you could conclude similar about any number of players playing in those games.

I think we're all agreed that he's pants though.

You can't really blame El Haimour for those games...

even though he is'nt very good. The goal at Reading for example was Souza's fault.

Don't need any stats

He's clearly way above the level of football he should be playing at, hence he's not playing anymore.

Not his fault, I'm sure he's a nice bloke and stuff but he's nowhere near Championship standard.

Gareth Bale didn't play in a winning Spurs side for over 20 games....

....does that make him worse than El Haimour?

the funny thing is.....

I posted a similar thread for Hugo Colace using stats to back up how important he is to us and not one person disagreed with the way they were presented.

it'sjust that sort of garbage that gives statistics a bad name.............

IMHO. there are so many other factors involved which you have completely ignored-not worth the paper it isn't written on

The even funnier thing is...

That all you have done in the other thread is get people saying how much they rate Colace... None of the replies have been about your stats.

In this instance people have mentioned your stats because it is a totally unfair analysis.
