Mounir in for Kozluk from now on, as far as I am concerned

Discussion in 'Bulletin Board ARCHIVE' started by Gloucester_Red, Aug 25, 2009.

  1. I haven't seen him play many games but I reckon he is worth a run in the team. Kozluk has something going on in his head and needs a long rest, or even shipping out.

Don't get over excited based on a League Cup game, El Alamein has been very average up to now whereas Kozluk with the exception of a couple of rushes to the head has been a decent performer for us.

For me we need a new left back anyway. If Kozzies on the slide (he is turned 31 and has relied on his pace) and El Alamein will be lying low for Ramadan til nearly October we need a new un.

  11. I'm not getting over excited about it, just suggesting a change for a few games

I agree, Kozluk has been a very good player for us but is prone to too many errors. He's not alone in this with De Silva's insistence on day dreaming putting us in trouble too often as well. It was his error that led to the cross which Kozzie nodded in to his own net. Unlucky, of course, but I am just suggesting that Mounir is given a chance. I've been impressed with his assurance on the ball and his speed in the tackle on the few occasions that I have seen him. Not suggesting he is the fabled left back that we are crying out for - just suggesting that he be given a chance. Just like the rest of them, especially the new boys. Get them into the right formation, playing the right tactics and WATCH THEM GO!!
