Anyone know of any good New Build homes been built? Or and decent appattments close to the town centre? Seen the ones at gateway, anyone live there to recommend?
I live in gateway mate, perfect for me being single. Bit over priced though. If you're going to look, try and get a private landlord rather than using the one that's in there, as I got a better spec of furnishing and an allocated parking space in the price. Also, I got one of the corner ones which has L shaped balcony in front of living room and maser bedroom... Which is nice. 1 bedrooms are really small, 2 probably a better option. Hope that helps!
Hello Red, there are what look to be decent apartments on Broadway opposite Kingstone School. They are half a mile from the motorway (M1 Junction 37) and one mile from the town centre. The only down side I can see is that they are next door to the fire station so there may be some noise from Trumpton. If you are interested I will get you the phone number as I believe it is on the side of the building. My sister in law used to live there so I have seen what they look like.
Someone I know paid about £1500, but I think that was penthouse. I pay £575 fully furnished at Gateway.
I'm assuming that's per month, not week as WR said. I share one of the penthouses with a mate, asking price was £1,500 but we got a chunk knocked off.
Seen the ones opposite the town hall, 3 decent sized bedrooms, one above the bank of Scotland seems ok. But seen a few now.
I work close to clarance dock now. The ones walking out back towards Bridgewater look different. The circular apts with balconies all way round.
