    Liverpool in mid to late seventies then my allegiences shifted to Nottingham Forest when they became the greatest club in the world for a few years.

    Of course BFC were always there, just, you couldn't get posters of Barnsley players in Shoot!

    My dad Alan played and then managed them.

    So, I've seen a fair few games myself.

    I used to love the smell of the linament in the changing rooms.

    He died 10 years ago now I'm afraid.

    We lived in Birdwell until 1985 when we made the huge leap to Hoyland (its a different and scary place I tell ya).

    L**ds until I started going to games at Oakwell...had a soft spot for them unil they got relegated and we played them....one of their players did a crunching tackle and from then on I've hated them!
