I think tomorrows team selection regarding mowatt should tell us all we need to know, they won,t risk him getting crocked with a million at stake...

There is no million at stake , what are you suggesting ? What we need to know is what we already know, he is under contract for another 4 months , he is our player

Just a sum being bandied about as we,ve all seen, just saying if theres anyone seriously interested and have tabled an acceptable offer , you would imagine he wouldn,t be playing tomorrow, just an opinion based on nothing at all...

Let's be honest if he was as good as some make out he would have been snapped up by a championship club long before now. Barnsley FC are as good as it's going to get for mowatt footballing wise, he won't play as regularly for any other championship club unless it's a newcomer like Wycombe or Rotherham. Even if mowatt sees out the rest of his contact we are still only 1 injury away from been very lightweight in central midfield, same as either wingback position. Still need a couple of quality additions.

I am being honest when I say that I think that Mowatt is an excellent Championship player. From what Valerien Ismael has said, it appears that he shares my opinion of Mowatt.

I don't know anywhere near as much as Valerien, but I agree with you, too. Not that that helps your argument!:D

I’m being honest and I disagree, Mowatt is a top end Championship player, and in any other times he would’ve attracted a bid to reflect that.Anyway, I sincerely hope he is a top end Championship player with us

I have enjoyed watching Alex really apply himself and go from a player the club were happy to get out on loan to the first name on the team sheet. His contribution has been a key factor in retaining our Championship status and helping us progress so much this year.

A really good player and one who has developed in to a real leader.

We won't be top end championship consistently with mowatt in midfield, it sounds harsh but that's just my thoughts. That is not to say I don't think he should be part of the squad, definitely a place in the squad for him....... But not on the star midfielder/captain wages he is probably wanting.

At times before we loaned him out, he struggled. And got grief. And some deserved tbf

It's taken a good couple of loans and a decision to knuckle down and give his all, and we are now seeing the player we all believed he would be.

We may lose him, for free, we may lose him to a decent enough bid what with 6 months left.

I wont belittle him in anyway, he has earned that right now. He has become a focal point in our team.

I do hope that he extends his stay, but if not, we cant deny him that surely....

I'd rather he stayed till the end of the season and lose him for free if he was definitely leaving though.
