indeed Nice to win but in these pre season early games substitutions / tactics / selection is more about fitness than anything else.

You are entitled to your opinion, course you are, but because its the third game of pre-season thats why its daft, surely you can see that,Should Gareth Southgate get sacked then for drawing to York, Should David Moyes get sacked for losing to Cambridge? Surely the time to judge is when competative matches start, dont get me wrong mate i would love us to win every game in pre-season but it does'nt usually work that way unfortunatly.

thats not what i'm saying at all. I'm disagreeing with the people who think its OK to post complete rubbish and think its just as relevent and informative as any other post becuase its their opinion.

Winning 1 in 4 preseason games against lower and non league teams isn't good enough and does nothing to improve my opinion of the guy as a manager.
I've come to the conclusion that ... An inordinate number of posters to this BB are simply attention seekers who feel validated when they shout loud enough and get a reaction. I'm stunned that people are trying to read the season ahead into pre-season friendlies, whose only purpose is to get the new lads integrated and the squad sharp for the new season. It's no different than playing a training match yet it appears that we're already consigned to relegation because we didn't anihilate Yeovil and York!!! We've got some very difficult opening games ... God help us when the attention seekers get thier sandwich boards out after them and tell us we're all doomed. It'd be funny if it wasn't so laughably pathetic ... fans??

Are we doing 'better fan than you' in pre-season nowadays? Excellent. In which case, I must be the best fan in the world 'cos, not only don't I care if we win friendlies, I also don't care if we win league or cup matches.
