    LOL

Mr Bates responded yesterday by calling Mr Willis "stupid".

Stupid for what? Wondering why two "unconnected" companies would agree to take a 1% return on their investment rather than a 40% one. Come on - that's so hugely suspicious that anyone would be nuts to think there wasn't something dodgy going on.

Bates will have a connection, one way or another, to those companies and the way they are controlled. Strange how they're both registered in countries that have secretive ownership laws.

Nice argument there, he just needs to put "FACT" at the end and nobody will question him!

I would think one of the main 'losers' is the Inland Revenue 7 million pound the article says. This is yours money and mine gone down the pan.
I suggest we write to our MP's and ask what they are doing about it. Think of the poor little clubs with a few grand owing to I R they give em hell to try and recover the brass. I think of days gone past when they sent me 3 letters pressing me for a 'demand' of 1 penny, yes 1 penny barstewards.
