    Morning all

Our lass is wanting one to use down at the gym, but knowing nothing about them could anyone please advise of any good ones to have a look at.
Ideally don't want to spend a fortune cos will be mainly for the gym, but will use it myself when abroad etc.

On a more serious note...... Anyone think we will be signing anyone today?

I was looking at mp3 players in PC World yesterday and if you just want a cheap one then you can pick up one of the memory stick mp3 players for just a few quid. It has a USB interface and you can just copy and paste your tracks onto it form your PC. Don't know how good they are or if this is of any help at all but I just thought I'd let you know.

Avoid hard-disk players. You might get away with it, but jogging/exercise can damage the HD beyond repair. Flash-based players are the way to go. You could buy into the iPod thing, but 1Gb ought to be enough if it's mainly for the gym - Creative do some cracking flash players - just bought Mrs Finn one for Chrimbo - and some of the Sony models are nice. It seems everyone and anyone is now knocking out flash MP3 players for not much wedge - you should be able to get summat decent for <£50 if you shop around.
