This post is going to be unpopular with some but i have to post it. I didnt spend 22 years in the army and not make unpopulare decisions once or twice.
Right you three, i hope you do read these boards and if you do please take note of what is being said.
STOP gambling with my club. Mark Robbins is a massive gamble and if you get it wrong it will be you three that the fans turn against. STOP always looking to take the cheap option for gods sake, specualte and you will accumulate. Mr Cryne you didnt build up your business empire this way so please dont do it at my club.
Push the boat out and get a good quality experienced manager in. Somebody like Jewell, Curbishley or Wilson. They have to have a track record at this level not be completely new to it. Learn lessons and stop making the same mistakes over and over again.
I'm not saying do what the fans want but at least listen to us. Yes without you Mr Cryne we are unlikely to have a club but without the fans we definitely would not have a club - dont forget that.
For me the best man for the job is... Danny Wilson. If i can forgive and forget i'm sure most can. Get talking to him and get him back home. While you're at it get on the phone to Winstanley too.

The bottom line is forget gambles on unproven lower league managers. This time it has to be the right man.

You've lost a lot of credibility

by suggesting Danny Wilson as the right man for the job. He isn't. Stop looking into the past. Look to the future...... Mark Robbins.

I think Mr Cryne is on holiday by the way - you may need to keep bumping this up.

No he hasn't, not in my eyes...

... yes wilson was brilliant for us but that is in the past. After Wednesday he has had a decent record at all the clubs he has managed. So, successful manager with Championship experience... step forward D. Wilson.

    I constantly find it amazing

How many people on here rail against "the cheap option" then bleat when the season ticket prices go up.

It's easy to spend other peoples money.

I dont' give a monkey's really who we get, or how much they cost.

I dont' even care if we win or loose or get relegated.

I just want a manager who will get the players to play with the passion and commitment that a professional footballer who has the hopes and dreams of 10,000 fans at their feet should do.

If we get beaten by better teams I don't care.

It's getting badly beaten by a pile of poo like Coventry that upsets me

Mark Robins is actually a very good manager and if he takes over then Mr Cryne / Mr Rowing / Mr Taylor have made the right choice. I am a local business man and know lots of people in the right places and trust me Robins knows his stuff and I'm sure he can take his abilities into the Championship.

    I know what you mean

Robins wouldnt be my first choice based on

    1. not having seen the list of candidates
    2. Not having any idea of possible candidates requirements (Strong rumour last time was Blackwell demanded millions to spend on players for example)
    3. It not being my money
    4. Not being part of the interview process
    5. Having no experience of running a football club

The guys making the decisions - either have many years football experience or have a large amount of money at stake
I'll go with whoever they choose - well as long as its not Tony Adams

Fortunately I dont think Messers Cryne Taylor and Rowing will pay much attention to whats said on here anyway

...and then take no notice of it at all.

This man, like everybody else on here, speaks only for himself.</p>

    And he's talking *****.
