Has anyone seen any evidence of the changes Mr Davey promised to the chairman and supporters at the end of last season.??

    Sorry it was needlessly antagonistic

Just think we need to wait and see what the summer brings. And if there is a lack of transfer activity its not necessarily Davey's fault, and to be fair I think he's been very open about our intentions so far

  6. Cant see us getting any really really good players in, we have to face facts, Davey aint the sharpest tool in the box is he. Great players would rather play at top end of championship rather than the bottom where we will be at like the last 3 seasons. We didnt buy many last summer look where that got us, terrible pre-season and poor poor season, the spell in october/november saved us from relegation just about and saved Davey his job. Season starts 5 weeks time

its early as yet in the transfer market so do not panic yet.

the players going out of contract etc only happened yesterday I think is correct. Normally we tend to announce/reveal new signings towards the end of a week (perhaps for the chronicles sake) so might it not be prudent to see what comes tomorrow, or at least till next friday 10th. If nothing next friday, then maybe a cause for concern may be in order. It will be around a month to the kick off, personally I think we should sign/loan new players sooner than later in order to train them and integrate them. But we are not alone in being inactive as yet transfer wise. Its not time to hit the panic button, not yet.Maybe next week.

We will only sign somebody when all the so called ...

....... bigger clubs have had their pick of who they want.

The only thing in our favour is that there are more pro footballers out of work than 'jobs' available so when it gets towards the end of this month, and lots haven't got fixed up with a club, they will start to lower their ambitions and wage demands just to get a contract somewhere. As such, a player with a decent calibre who won't give us a second look at the moment, might start getting interested as the days/weeks roll on.

I suspect that is Mr. Davey's tactic - well, either that or sign a load of **** from the Conference or unknowns from abroad, and hope they come good.
