fair enough maybe our catchment area for fans aint massive (considering the amount of teams in SY)

despite all that we were playing the team with the second worse (by 1 goal) defence in the English top 4 divisions....prior to this match.

We failed to score more goals against THAT defence..this shows just HOW weak our strike force really is.

But to have a go at The Fans Kieth is stupid.. its no way near good enough week in week out saying that the disatisfaction of the paying fans is not warranted.OK OK I hardly get to go live to the games nowadays...but I do feel I am warranted, due to the 20+ years of being a ST holder, in standing up for the guys and gals who are paying hard earned cash to get that response. Your players are just not doing it Mr Hill, and its time they were.I know we have a long way to go yet this term but we have had this now year upon year. The Supporters are wearying of this...and then MR Rowing puts up his totally LUDICROUS pricings for the fare that is served up. Its like paying Mayfair restraunt prices for a McDonalds...not acceptable sir.I still believe we will not get relegated, however I also believe we are in for the "Squeaky Bum " season as per usual. As Pete Townsend said ... "Meet the New Boss..Same as The Old Boss" unfortunately a lot of the paying fans simply "WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN " as the attendances are now beginning to show.

without trying to defend hills statement,which i'm not.
i think he's trying to create an us and them situ,ie you attack my players and i'll protect them
it seemed to work after the last bad run and were playing crap, when we went quite a few matches unbeaten.imo

I get the impression he's trying to get the fans to buy into the 'Team Barnsley' idea he went on about in the summer, whereby booing is eliminated, the fans back the players to the hilt and together we take on the bigger clubs and hopefully be successful. Great idea, but in reality, only a certain amount of fans will sit there watching poor performances and not raise their objections.

well dunno really it'll not go down well with fans thats for sure. but according to dale fans it worked there .different scenario at well tho n with controversy of pricing policy it'll be interesting how it turns out. but one things clear hills gonna do it his way no matter what. so we'll have to wait and see.imo

I think you're right, I think it's just his way but he has to be careful with how far he goes down this road. Trying to defend the first half today and blame the fans is only going to alienate him from the fans and I would hope he thinks he needs us onboard too.

 

also its gonna affect then gates too

fans WILL vote with their feet.
