Allen Joanne has passed your 73rd e-mail of the day to me & I just thought I'd let you know that you are no longer welcome at Oakwell. For a start - I don't like being stalked by a fudge fondler. Also - your match 'commentary' sounds like some bees being shaken about in a biscuit tin. Thirdly - We don't need 'your kind' around here. Seventhly - We are doing our best to sort stuff out. Twelfthly - We are thinking of using one of the Everley Brothers songs for the players to come out to. Eighty ninethly - I believe 1000% that you are a gimpoid. Yours in sport, Gord Shepherder* *Not really Gord. Simply a daft parody. Just thought I'd point that out.
Very good. I'm sure the majority of folk on here appreciate that I'm trying my best to let our chairman know the fans' opinions on certain matters. He actually approached me on Saturday to ask if I would him let him know of any such issues.
RE: Dunt take it to heart I know he is, but I just thought I'd mention that he actually does want to hear our opinions on such matters, so much so that he asked me to let him know of issues. It's not just me randomly e-mailing him as it were. It's probably easier relaying information through a couple of people than answering the same query from a host of folk.
To be fair ... what is the point? Is Gord really interested? I mean really, really interested? If we provided a bullet proof list of items we think would improve the club - would they be actioned? And would a timescale be put on them? It's a vicious circle. Theoretically - if we did put things forward, and they were ignored - then Gord would be criticised ... which he wouldn't like. Maybe it's better if we just shut up, kept out of it & let the 'Businessmen' do their work? We are, afterall, merely a bunch of 'career employees'.
RE: Dunt take it to heart Isn't there a forum on here for club issues? I think you're doing a fine job btw
RE: Dunt take it to heart There is, but I'm pretty happy with the speed of responses I've had so I'll carry on as long as the chairman's happy for me to. Oh, and until I get a job!
