Skinner is a democrat who believes deeply in social justice...you may not like his left wing socialist brand of politics... but it doesn't make him an extremist .
Interesting to note The Guardian seems to be ignoring it...I'll give them the benefit of the doubt...perhaps they haven't got round to it yet...if it doesn't appear as a headline article though , some could well conclude it's worth little more than the Tory graph.
The man's n egotistical fool who doesn't know how to behave in public as an adult. Like the rest of them he's more interested in his own popularity than he is in improving he country
Not really news though is it? Infamous anti-EU politician is voting 'leave'. I love Skinner. But unlike him, I'm swaying towards voting 'remain'. But as I said t'other day, I'm not really sure it'll affect me whichever way it goes. The Tories are still in power, in or out. I see them as the problem, not the EU. But I can't vote them out unfortunately.
I love Dennis. One of the last non careerist politicians we have. We should cherish him. Don't agree with him on this but understand where he's coming from
Dennis is always entertaining and is worth a place in parliament just for that. But honestly, would you want to live in a country run by him or according to his ideals?
Some classic 'Skinner' moments on Youtube. The best had to be when he said '50% of the tories sat across from me are crooks'. Mr. Speaker asked him to retract it so he said ...... 'Ok Mr. Speaker. I apologise. What I meant to say was that 50% of the tories sat across from me are NOT crooks'. Comedy gold. He was asked to leave at that point!
Thata a brilliant example of what I mean by his ego and wanting attention is more important than acting like an adult and debating properly. He was more than happy to have all eyes on him making a big immature gesture and walking out. How did him leaving parliament yet again help his constituents? It didn't, it only raised his profile. He is be no means the first of them but the vast majority him included are in it for their own power trip
No I'd rather be butt ****** by tax avoiding multinational corporations, the banks and rabid free market Tories, as we are being at the moment.
