Watching the Huddersfield match against Stoke tonight & it is only half time but Gavin Ward the ref is having a mare , the Huddersfield player Corona commits GBH on a Stoke player , a real vicious tackle to which a straight red did not need thinking about but Mr Ward 5 yards away gives a yellow & then of course Stoke get punished again when Corona scores , but then it gets worse , Stoke go down the pitch & then Tom Lees goes straight through Campbell in the box for a clear spot kick which of course Mr Ward says play on , absolutely shocking !
I saw that he should have put a town shirt on 1st half had a nightmare hoping stoke come back as they dont deserve to be 1 down
Wasn’t watching at the time But the commentator said he didn’t receive a yellow. If that’s right then a Mcgeehan- type retrospective action should follow
Didn"t realise that , you could well be right he should not get away with that one , Obrien got away with a nasty one on Brown in the second half which also could have been a red, incidentally Brown scored a great goal & got MOM despite only coming on in the second half .
