been trying to logon to my messenger for last 3 days but it keeps coming up with error code 80048820 help plz cheers
RE: error code 80048820 have you clicked the check up box, did it even come up. I have a sneaky feeling its to do with password/username that error,but do not quote me.It could be worthwhile setting up a temp email address ,on yahoo for instance,that way you can get in touch with microsoft .I tried to change the detail on my msn once and they said they would send the details how to do so by e-mail.But I could not get in due to the error code, which seems remarkably like yours.
RE: error code 80048820 Its to do with the .NET settings, this means the servers for msn are down or it is to do with your Firewall settings, so if i was you turn all your firewalls off then log off and try again. This happened to me not long back and mine worked fine after that.... Oh btw, once you have signed on make sure to turn your Firewalls back on as msn is known for fetching in a few nasty viruses, hope this helps mate (Y)
