I reckon we've now got the best goalkeeping line-up in the second tier, and that's including Hennessey/Miller at Wolves, so my question to BFC is..... now we're looking solid at the back, when the hell are we going to buy some strikers who can score?
Until his form drops he has got to stay as No1 even when Muller is fit. The lad hasn't done a thing wrong and loads of things right.
With Muller in the side we were a top 10 club but since his injury we are fighting for survival. Doesnt take a genius to work that one out.
Muller got us out of jail on a lot of occasions and commanded his area very well. He certainly got us the points against Wolves and Colchester.
Not doubting he is a very good GK but Steele can't just be slung aside. So far he has been excellent for us. I suppose it is a fresh start in the summer but if Steele starts next season as no1 through Mullers injury he should stay no1 if he performs well.
Do you think people would be moaning about semi final tickets if Muller had played at Anfield , Iam not knocking Muller he is a class act but Luke with a lot of help from the back 4 ( CHELSEA ) made great saves against better strikers than Wolves and Colchester have got .(Hypothetical Point.)
I fully understand your point but I would choose Muller over Steele, and I think SD is of the same opinion. I cant see Steele playing in the reserves can you neither can I see Muller playing in the reserves.
I reckon the club might be thinking that Muller wont be with us for that much longer. We won't be paying the wages we are to Steele to sit on the bench. I would hazard a guess that Steele is on more than Muller, or very similar wages.
