BARNSLEY are willing to double the wages of keeper Heinz Muller in a bid to keep him at the club.
The German, who has attracted interest from Bolton, Wigan and Fulham arrived from Lillestrom for £100,000 last summer and has a £1million release clause in his contract.

if he does go, then we make 900k it would seem..rather keep him mind , but still not a bad profit

and before anyone starts...yes I too think he is worth at least treble that ..but its a better profit than the McIndoe, and also I think we WILL get more than 1 million as ou have to remember there are aparently a number of clubs intersted so we should get quite a bit more I think

i disagree i think the gready premiership clubs will all come in with offers just above the clause value, and insteed of competing on transfer price they'll compete on wages they offer him

    Yes

they'll do exactly what a minimum release clause suggests.

If one came in with £1m and another offered £3m he could still go to the team that offered £1m!
