Various papers stating that Arsenal are keen on him, and could cost 2 million.

Too right. Got a great replacement in Steele already, and the cash can add to the pot we have built up with the cup run.

Steele is still only on a loan, and i am not sure Steele would like to play in League 1 if we should relegate

Nobody will pay 2million for an injured keeper, or 2nd choice

He isnt going anywhere until he has been back in our 1st team consistently

People soon forget.........ok Steele is good but he aint in the same street as Muller

How many times have we been gratefull to Muller this season because without him we would have lost the point/s

And for Muller to be sold for £2 million would be a give away...........he is worth at least £4 million
This guy, if he was English, would be knocking on the door of the England squad

    You are missing the point

My point is that nobody will buy him until he's fit and playing regularly again

then of course they will and if his performance is back upto the levels it was then £2million sounds a reasonable figure

    Steele Is Better Than Muller

Muller: Makes sure there's a release clause in his contract.
Steele: Takes a paycut to stay with us.

Muller: Doesn't like catching the ball so much.
Steele: Much more comfortable at collecting crosses.

    Muller: Out for months injured.
Steele: Yet to pick up an injury.

Muller: Now in the prime of his career.
Steele: Still young enough to keep on improving and we haven't seen the best of him.

Muller: League form was alright before he got injured.
Steele: I don't think we would still be in the FA Cup if Muller had not got injured.

a good rule of thumb is to take an opposite viewpoint to his logic and you wont be far wrong

RE: You are missing the point................£2 million !!!............there better not be a clause

£2 million for a goalkeeper that is better than 90% of Premeirship goalkeepers
I would say Muller is as good as James and Kirkland and better than Carson...........how much are these worth ???

And if there is a clause in his contract then the negotiating team at Barnsley should be sacked
I would rather not have the player at all than to have them given away after a few months.......as in the debacle that was MCINDOE...which is still not forgotten

    Not strictly true

Fair point on footballing matters but on young ladies well that's a different story altogether

Problem you have is allot of players won't come without these. I agree with what your saying about you'd rather they not come, but if Barnsley can sign a player for 500K and sell for 2 Mill then good business, especially when we have a free replacement.
Also, before transfer window papers said it was 1 million clause, now it's 2 million........ Could be paper talk

Did I say it was Mullers fault he got injured? I just prefer a keeper who doesn't get injured, to a keeper who's going to be out for a long time.
