bet he's got a reight boit on him. well done board and manager for persevering and getting him on board.

I expect us to be more direct during certain games next season.

too many sides in the Championship capable of out footballing us, some even out muscled us. makes sense to be able to change tactics to suit, we were far too predictable last season at times.

We were , we humped it for the majority of the season and we werent very good at it.

I am all for variation in play and as long as the long ball is done with direction and not hope then all well and good.

    RE: More direct?

we hit the wall half way through the season, trying to pass the ball through teams wasnt working, only when Ferenzi signed and could hold the ball up did we start picking up. think the intention next year is to have strength and pace up front to be able to hit teams on the break. ability to change tactics is key, and Davey studies the opposition to identify whats the best way to approach the game.

    RE: More direct?

Only downside is Ferenczi has been very poor for a quite a while now and seems to have forgotten how to play football.

The better counter attack teams seem to be ones that pass well, and to be honest Mossto doesnt look like someone who wants the ball over the top, he seems like a through ball kind a guy.

    RE: More direct?

Mosstto will not be happy if he doesn't get the ball to his feet. That's his style of game. You can see that on the You Tube videos.

I hope he will be given the chance to play his football. The other Hungarian wasn't.

    RE: More direct?

too many times Colgan kept hold of the ball too long, allowing opposition to get back, expecting to see us counter with pace down wings and quick 'punt' to strikers, the player Im most interested in seeing is Kayode, think he could frighten the shi-t outta some of the more experienced centre halves that have had us taped up too easily.

Great. All of this sounds so exciting.

When Ritchie tried to play in a similar way, the football was exciting but we didn't have the players or the finishers to compete well, score enough goals or win games.

What I have read re BFC since I came back, sounds promising. I hope you are right SM.

A quick punt is all well and good , but if you have brought everyone back to defend a set piece there isnt anyone to kick it to
